Below Blue Horizon
January 10 – February 15, 2019
Curated by Tiago de Abreu Pinto

Rodríguez Gallery is delighted to present the exhibition Below Blue Horizon by Sreshta Rit Premnath, the Indian-born, New York-based artist’s first solo presentation in Poland, bringing together works that draw on politics, history and biographical elements, while maintaining a dialogue with the Polish conceptualist Koji Kamoji’s work. The presentation of Premnath’s recent artistic output on this occasion, explores his research into the cultural and symbolic aspects of the horizon, an ever receding boundary that is often seen as a metaphor for memory and longing. Here the artist draws our attention below the horizon, to the here and now that is the present.
