Position: Digital Video Intern
Essence.com is looking for a Fall Digital Video Intern to assist our team with shoots, footage archiving, and daily administrative tasks.

Job Qualifications:
• Must be knowledgeable about video editing techniques, equipment, and software
• Must be able to use digital cameras and have knowledge of lighting techniques (or a fast learner)
• Must have the ability to effectively communicate ideas orally and in writing
• Must be able to visualize production scripts and other verbal or written instructions
• Must know how to effectively operate and maintain video editing systems and related equipment (or a fast learner)
• Ability to complete tasks and projects in a timely manner
• Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment
• Ability to multitasks
• Ability to prioritize

Job Responsibilities:
• Log and Maintain Video Library
• Act as a PA/ Add’l Camera on video shoots
• Make technical adjustments to video files (i.e. color, audio, etc)

Job Breakdown:
50% – Footage Archiving
27.5%- Supervised Shooting & Editing
17.5%- Administrative
5%- Misc// Special Projects
