EL PLAY, a short documentary directed by Pablo Medina (CDT FT Fac) has         been selected as a special category for the prestigious Cartagena International Film Festival and will screen with some of 2008’s most important films including Stephen Soderberg’s Che and Gus Van Sant’s Milk. The festival starts February 28th and EL PLAY screens on March 2nd.

The film, which Junot Diaz called, “a wonderful, heartfelt look at Dominican Republic’s baseball dreams,” will also have a New York screening March 6th at John Jay College. The screening is open to the public, so if you haven’t seen the film, or if you dug it so much that you’re dying to see it again, please come.
