Local Projects is an award-winning media design firm for museums and public spaces. They are seeking an undergraduate or graduate Film/Media Studies student with sharp editing skills, an ear for storytelling and an interest in history, to work primarily on video and audio pieces for museum exhibitions and varied historical documentary projects.

Fluent knowledge of Final Cut Pro, familiarity with video and audio compressions, ability to properly manage and backup files, and an eagerness to create powerful narratives are essentials. You will be expected to independently screen, log and select raw video and audio, assemble rough cuts, and work with a supervising producer and film team on the creation of fine cuts. Candidates should be highly organized, resourceful, creative, and able to work well with others. This is an opportunity to work on an important, enduring projects, and we are looking for an intern that is eager to learn the narrative and technical skills required to produce this work.

Interns must receive course credit for their work. We will not consider interns who are not sponsored by a qualified educational institution or program.
