Are you still using copies of folders to save versions of your coding projects? There’s a better way! Version control is a professional method for saving and sharing versions of any code project. This is an intro level workshop aimed at getting attendees up and running with Git. Git is a free & open source, distributed version control system designed to handle everything from small to very large projects with speed and efficiency.

Bring your laptops and a desire to learn.
SCHEDULE
Introduction: 1-1:15pm
Basic Concepts: 1:15 – 2:45pm
Break: 2:45 – 3:00pm
Control Your Own Project: 3:00pm – 4:30pm
Q&A: 4:30-5:00pm
