For almost 2 decades, Summer Study Programs has been offering high school students from all over the world the rare opportunity to experience a pre-college experience. This summer we are offering a program at Fordham University at the Lincoln Center campus. Students attending our programs come to NYC from all over the world to take college credit courses, enrichment classes, career exploration classes, intensive workshops and SAT preparation courses while participating in a variety of educational, social and recreational activities. Our goal is to deliver outstanding precollege experiences to students, while in a controlled and supervised environment.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, outgoing instructor to teach students a Digital Photography course this summer. We are in need of 1 instructor to teach from approximately 2:30pm – 4:00pm OR 4:00pm – 5:30pm, July 7 – 25.
The hired instructor will have the freedom to design his/her own course based on the summary below:
DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY: Capture the Moment – If capturing the perfect moment were easy, we would all be photographing models for magazines. Whether your style is Vogue or National Geographic, the digital camera can be used to capture the essence of any moment! Explore camera use and functions, cropping, lighting, and flash. Learn how to download photos to your computer, back up your images, create slideshows and photo collages, adjust coloration, e-mail and print photos, and have fun while doing it! With New York City as a magnificent backdrop and faces in your program from around the world, your photo memories will last a lifetime! Students must bring a digital camera with necessary connection cables.
