The Deadline for submissions to the Student Portfolio competition Breaking Boundaries VI is this Friday May 1st, 2015!
The competition, called Breaking Boundaries VI, is absolutely free and the selected work will be printed and framed in China during the 2015 Pingyao (China) International Photography Festival. The beauty of this year’s competition is that students who are selected will have the opportunity to exhibit a small body of work rather than just one or two pieces. In previous years, some of the student artists in the Breaking Boundaries exhibition have been invited to exhibit in other venues.
The PIP festival is attended by upwards of 100,000 international visitors and is held in a 2,700-year-old walled village that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The venues include ancient temples, factories, and warehouses. It is a truly amazing location.
This competition is sponsored by the Society of Photographic Education.
