PhotoFeast, a Parsons student photo organization, will be starting critique groups this year that places emphasis on connecting students in conversation with other students in new york.
Critiquefeast will be held every two weeks on Saturdays at 1pm-3:40pm for nine students from various institutions to present work to each other. These sessions will also be open to a public audience to observe the critiques, seating will be provided.
For our first critique session coming up this Saturday 10/9, we would like to start it by opening up just to students in the Parsons photo program as a trial run and connect undergraduate and mfa students. The rest of the critiques this year will be open to all schools, which will mean only one Parsons student will be represented in the following critiques.
*Sign up for spots will be open for reservation this Wednesday 10/6, starting at NOON and closes at MIDNIGHT, please visit PHOTOFEAST.ORG to reserve your critique spot. Spots will be prioritized through first come first serve basis and based on grade level, we will be trying to create a diverse group to provide a unique dialogue outside of the classroom. We will email you if you are in this week’s critique with details.
