CBGB will be hosting it’s second annual music/art/film festival, October 9-13, throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn! Spanning over 5 days, we will be taking over music venues, movie theaters, local businesses, and shutting down Times Square for an all day concert in the street. We are looking to feature 2 exclusive and limited edition CBGB shirts designed by students from art schools in NYC, which will be sold at the festival, as well as beforehand on our website.

Designs must:

● Accommodate printing on either a black or white standard short-sleeved shirt

● Be submitted as both a PDF and Adobe Illustrator file with text saved as an outline

● Be front-only and one-sided

● Include the words “CBGB Festival 2013”, or “CBGB & OMFUG”

Two winning designs will be selected: a CBGB t-shirt, and a CBGB festival t-shirt. This is a chance to showcase your personal style and talent, as well as the rich history and reputation of the original CBGB venue.

PRIZE: Winners will receive a free festival pass, a backstage pass to the Times Square show, and a limited edition production of their design.

Deadline: 4/30

All designs will be submitted to the sponsor liaison’s email. The contest winner’s design will be printed on 200 shirts and made available for purchase during the festival. Their name will be included on our website and at points of purchase. The contest provides up and coming designers and artists to have their work realized and featured in a major NYC event. Winners will be notified and asked for additional formats if necessary during the time of print.
