Learn more about Ghostprint at www.ghostprintgallery.com and more about First Friday at www.firstfridaysrichmond.com/index.html.
We have strived to make submissions to this show an affordable opportunity. Your first entry submission costs $30; however, each additional entry is only $5. In addition, for this show only, the gallery will not be taking a commission on sold work, so 100% of the proceeds from work sold goes to the artist.
The Richmond Illustrators Club Juried Shows are locally organized events that draw international attention, while reminding Richmond of its own remarkable presence in the illustration world. The club aims to create a bridge between the disparate network of incredible illustrators nationwide and the rich, ever-growing illustration community locally. With the establishment of The Art Department RVA Pod, the continued strength of the VCU Communication Arts Department and a thriving gallery scene, Richmond is an inspirational place for illustrators and artists of all stripes. Past RIC Juried shows have attracted audiences of thousands and participating artists have seen the benefit through gallery representation, freelance projects, and private commissions. Past jurors have included Anita Kunz, Mark Summers, Marshall Arisman, and Kadir Nelson, among others. This is always a great show that stands out in the Richmond art scene and to be involved in any way is a great thing!
