Las Estrellas Triunfadores (Our self-named BOLD Spanish Support Group) at Albert Einstein College of Medicine would like to create a video to reach out to other Bronx Latino/a women and men affected by cancer to let them know there is a BOLD community of peer support, free cancer wellness services and counseling, and to empower them to get the cancer screening and support they need and deserve. We are hoping to identify a video or film student/program who would like to volunteer or serve as an intern to work with us on creating this video. We would be able to provide community service reference letters to document their time. Spanish-speaking students would be preferable. The idea to create the video project was thought of by the group members as a way to honor one of their participants, Tasha, who sadly passed away recently.
