Poster series using satellite imagery as a base material. Exploring the effect of digital media on the interpretation and abstraction of a geographic location.

Bryant Wells is an independent designer based in New York City. He makes graphic, digital, and interactive things — often with the intent of exploring interpretation and culture within post-digital mediums.

Graphic Identity for Work In Progress — A group show held at Storefront for Art and Architecture hosting speculative alternatives to current architectural developments in New York City.

Bryant graduated from the University of Cincinnati’s School for Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Design. Before developing his independent practice, he worked in Seattle with Carbon Design Group (now the Product Engineering Group at Oculus VR) on interfaces for industrial products, and in NYC with Potion (founded by MIT Media Lab alumni Phillip Tiongson and Jared Schiffman) on mobile applications and large scale interactive installations.

Plural — a speculative typeface. Each letter is generated using a grid based on random values, resulting in forms ranging from semi-regular to completely illegible.

Identity and generative logo for Tiempo De Zafra — fashion label and artistic practice of Ed Garrido.
