Durero Creek, 2014 by Stanislav Ginzburg
BFA Alumnus Stanislav Ginzburg ’06 is currently featuring work in Exhibition: Mary Stanley Selects at the Atlanta Photography Group Gallery through November 28th.
One of Stanislav’s pieces from his new series Herbarium is on view at the Atlanta Photography Group Gallery as part of Exhibition: Mary Stanley Selects. The show is now open and runs through November 28th.
The self-portrait piece is based on Albert Dürer’s Adam and Eve oil panels, 1507. Stanislav collected, dried, and pressed plants along Newtown Creek, one of the most polluted bodies of water in the US, in his neighborhood of Greenpoint, Brooklyn. This work continues his ongoing exploration of the natural world around him. More images from this series can be found here: www.stanislavginzburg.com.
