Assistant Professor of Art, Media and Technology
Candidates for full-time faculty positions at Parsons give job talks, which are public, on-campus presentations to our faculty and staff. The job talks allows candidates to present themselves in the context of their research, scholarship, or creative practice, and pedagogical philosophy. The candidate speaks for about thirty minutes, followed by a fifteen-minute Q&A follow-up session.
Selena Kimball

Selena Kimball earned her BFA in sculpture from The Rhode Island School of Design and her MFA in combined media from Hunter College. She has exhibited at the Katonah Museum of Art in New York, the Estonian National Museum, the Portland Museum of Art in Maine, the Center for Contemporary Art, Warsaw, the Museum of the Romanian Peasant, Bucharest, and is represented by Wolfstaedter Gallery, Frankfurt. She has been awarded residency fellowships at the MacDowell colony and the Millay Colony, and most recently received a 2015 Pollock-Krasner grant. Published projects include “ephemera” from Siglio Press Los Angeles. Her work has been reviewed in the Boston Globe, the Frankfurter Zeitung, and the New York Observer. Current collaborations include an interdisciplinary project with the Museum of World Culture in Gothenburg, Sweden, and she was invited to be a visiting researcher at the University of Gothenburg this winter. Selena was Assistant Professor at George Mason University School of Art, and is currently Assistant Professor in the School of Art, Media, and Technology at Parsons.
