Philip Ejike, a 2007 MFA DT grad, is involved with a comic book anthology comprised of New York-area writers. They have completed the stories for the anthology and are actively seeking illustrators and, or comic book artists.
They are interested in illustrators that have, first and foremost, a strong narrative sense. Illustrators should also be skilled in anatomy, perspective and backgrounds, and shouldn’t be afraid to flex their imaginations to seemingly unseemly levels.
The work is unpaid, but the purpose of this anthology is to serve as a stepping stone, as a way to attract attention from industry professionals. The deadline for completed work has yet to be solidified, but most likely it will be in late fall/early winter of this year. Upon completion, the book will be printed and sold at conventions and various other venues.
