Calling all aspiring Parsons Designers, Stylists, Photographers, and Directors!
Amazon Fashion continues with the third annual “Amazon Fashion Studio Sessions,” a one day team based EDITORIAL CHALLENGE taking place at Amazon’s state-of-the-art Imaging Studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, on Saturday October 17th.
We’re assembling two unstoppable teams, 1 Womenswear, 1 Menswear to represent Parsons and compete in the challenge. Working with tools and resources provided by Amazon Fashion, including photography bay/hair/makeup/wardrobe/props equipment, each team will have one day to produce an editorial page.

A message from the team at Amazon:
On the day of the competition, each team will be challenged to create an editorial campaign image styled with merchandise from Amazon Fashion’s holiday-season fashion closet. We will provide each team with it’s own photography bay, as well as all of the necessary tools to create a compelling editorial message (e.g. models, hair and makeup artists, wardrobe assistants, props, equipment, etc.). Each team will present their final work to a panel or judges from Amazon Fashion’s esteemed executive team. The winning womenswear and menswear category will be featured on Amazon.com/Fashion!
The first-place teams in each category will receive $25,000 ($5,000 per each first-place winner), the second-place teams in each category will receive $10,000 ($2,000 per each second-place winner).
****Please note that students who have participated in previous Studio Sessions are not eligible to participate in the 2015 competition.
Students will be selected based on the following criteria:
- Creative vision
- The ability to fulfill one of the team tools described above
- Undergraduate level
- Past internship experience in art, fashion, or photography
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Students must be 18 years of age or older
Please note that participating students should expect to spend the full day – from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. – at Amazon Fashion’s Imaging Studio in Williamsburg on October 17, 2015.
All entries are due no later than September 21st!
We will announce the selected participants on September 25th!
