Parsons Fine Arts Alumni Luma Jasim has been selected as a 2019 Storytellers’ Institute Visiting Fellow.

The MDOCS Forum, will have a panel consisting of Luma Jasim Mariam Bazeed, Cecilia Aldarondo, EB Landesberg. Four documentarians and artists working in different mediums, to present how their work uses humor to reflect experiences of memory, trauma, and loss.

MDOCS will host a weekend-long Documentary Forum consisting of public events combining festival presentations of artistic work with symposium-style conversations around an annual theme. The forum is free and open to the public.
