25East Gallery is pleased to announce eight Fine Arts students at Parsons School of Design as our curatorial committee for the 2023-2024 academic year. Anahita Bagheri, Hannah Bang, Mari Rios Cacua, Steffie Chau, Elias Diplas, Fran Harris, Julee Rodgers, and Danielle Sargeant were chosen to be on the 25East Gallery Curatorial committee based on their qualifications and interests.
Anahita Bagheri is an MFA Fine Arts 2024 candidate. Anahita Bagheri is an artist, curator, and educator based in NYC. She was shortlisted for ArtTable Curatorial Fellowship at the Museum of the City of New York in NYC in 2023. Her former experience includes being an assistant curator, a juror, and a teaching assistant in Iran. She will curate two exhibitions Displaced Landscapes in 2023, and Unfolded Expressions: Redefining Boundaries in 2024 at 25East Gallery.
Hannah Bang is an artist and an MFA Fine Arts 2025 candidate.
Mari Rios Cacua is an artist and an MFA Fine Arts 2024 candidate.
Steffie Chau is a BFA Fine Arts 2024 candidate. Steffie Chau is a multidisciplinary artist, born and raised in Hong Kong. She perceives the relationship with her surroundings through domestic objects and belongings, acting as vessels for personal narratives and translating their narratives into tangible artworks. Steffie is receiving her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from Parsons School of Design and studied fine art and French studies abroad at Paris College of Art in France. Steffie pursued curation through her passion for group exhibitions and fascination for emerging artists, motivating her to share their stories with a wider audience.
Elias Diplas is an artist and a BFA Fine Arts 2024 candidate.
Fran Harris is an artist and a BFA Fine Arts 2024 candidate.
Julee Rodgers is an artist and a BFA Fine Arts 2024 candidate.
Danielle Sargeant is an artist and an MFA Fine Arts 2025 candidate.
