Over the summer of 2009, principal AMT Faculty Benjamin Bacon, David Carroll, Simone Douglas, and Jim Ramer taught a collaborative class in Beijing and Shanghai of over 60 students from Parsons and Tsinghua University. Using innovative, multidisciplinary instructional methods inspired by the Exquisite Corpse process and location-aware mobile media devices on loan from Nokia, the team of faculty and students collected and remixed images and artifacts from the streets of Beijing and Shanghai into a variety of multimedia projects.
