Job Title: Photography Department Intern

Dates: Summer and Fall 2011

Location: New York City

Responsibilities: This will be an opportunity to experience and learn about the photography department’s role in an editorial environment. The photography intern will assist in the planning and execution of shoots, maintaining of equipment, and will assist various team members.

Requirements: We value those who are interested in the Martha Stewart Living culture, and those who are motivated, industrious, and eager to learn. We are looking for interns who have a desire to work in a challenging and creative editorial environment. Candidates MUST be able to receive school credit from their university and provide a letter verifying their eligibility to receive credit for the internship. They also MUST have either completed their Junior Year of College or are enrolled in a Graduate or Advanced Degree program. We will pay a $20 daily stipend.

Summer Interns: Interns will work normal business hours Monday through Friday from the beginning of June to the beginning/middle of August.

Fall Interns: The ideal candidate can work between 20-30 hours a week in our West Chelsea office any time between September and January. We are willing to work around a school schedule and are flexible regarding start and end dates.
