Position: Freelance coder
Fee: $2500
Commitment: Fall semester

Description: Freelancer sought to create data visualization for shapeofchange.com, an online archive that tracks American and Iraqi thoughts on political change over a two year period of American demilitarization. Two basic applications currently exist on the site: a text reader (the globe looking app) and a keyword search (the tree ring app) in the Browse section, that are linked together via keywords.

Responsibilities: To create a third app would visualize how the text structures in the archive change over time. The application would ideally be 3 dimensional, and should work with the aesthetics and work flow of the rest of the site.

Requirements:
Experience designing data visualizations
Experience coding AS3 or processing
Experience working with and optimizing databases
