1) Speak with founders, engineers, data scientists, product managers, recruiters, & more
2) Learn what it’s like to work at a startup in NYC (the excitement & the challenges)
3) Get the inside scoop on companies’ products & services
4) Discuss internship & full-time job opportunities
This program is open to 100 students reviewed and selected by application through this website.
The NYC Startup Odyssey is presented by Uncubed and NYCEDC.
This March, 100 students from NYC schools around the city will have the opportunity to visits the offices of some of NYC’s hottest tech companies. This is the “Startup Odyssey,” and in the course of a day spent visiting the likes of Gilt, Shutterstock, Birchbox, BuzzFeed, Etsy, and more, students will learn firsthand what it’s like to work at a tech company and meet face-to-face with prospective employers.
The trip is free for students selected through a competitive application process (minus the cost of a MetroCard), and all students who attend the March tour will also receive a free student pass to the spring Uncubed event in May, with talks, workshops, and 90+ startups actively recruiting.
