The games intern at MTVN Comedy Central Games will interact with various Comedy Central groups and producers to work on different game design and game production projects, as well as working with a CMS system to update and maintain content in the games portal at comedycentral.com.  The intern will work as part of the games group developing and producing original and Comedy Central franchise games for comedycentral.com and other Comedy Central vertical sites. Other responsibilities might include game testing and specific game related research. Additionally, the intern will have a chance to be involved in MTVN’s expansion into console downloadable games.

The most important requirement for this internship is a passion for video games as well an understanding and desire to learn more about the game design and production process. Good writing skills are preferred and if the candidate has experience with Flash, JavaScript and PHP that’s a plus.

This internship will run for the entire Summer semester and we will be running it again in the Fall semester. This is a non-paid internship, but also one that involves real work in a real game production environment. You won’t be making photocopies or picking up our lunch, you’ll be working on games.
