Girls Write Now seeks diverse, passionate, and talented writers, teachers, and leaders to join our volunteer mentor class starting fall 2013. Girls Write Now is a dynamic community of women writers on a mission: for 15 years, our award-winning programs have provided creative and academic guidance, support, and opportunities for the next generation of writers in NYC.

Enroll to be a mentor in our 2013-2014 digital writing program and build a one-to-one relationship with an aspiring teen media maker. Together we’ll embark on a journey of creative workshops, exhibitions, opportunities for publication, and more, all to give girls the tools to advance their writing skills through digital media. If you’re a graduate student at the New School, we offer opportunities for school accreditation through intern­ship or class credit.
