AID FOR AIDS International’s Holiday Card Design Student Competition. UPDATE

AID FOR AIDS International is very excited to announce that the WORLD WITHOUT AIDS Holiday Greeting Card Competition is now being sponsored by Marc Jacobs. In light of this recent event, the deadline to submit entries has been extended to Monday, October 31, 2011.

Judging will take place Tuesday, November 1st by esteemed Parsons professors:
Aaron Brashear:

Partner and creative director at Lost In Brooklyn Studio. Founded in 1999 with wife and partner Mic Holwin, Lost In Brooklyn is a “small but mighty” design studio specializing in identity design, marketing/advertising, brand development/identity development, print design, web design, writing and marketing consulting for many not-for-profit music and arts organizations, as well as corporate clients.
Victoria Benatar:

Victoria Benatar RA, member, CIV, CAV, (Caracas Venezuela) AIA, (NY Chapter) is the principal of the New York-based firm: Victoria Benatar ARCHITECT PLLC.

Her firm has worked on major design assignments for worldwide clients, including Steve Madden, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, NYC Annex and others. Her work has been published in The New York Times, Art Forum, Archis, Oculus, New York Spaces, VSMD, Ocean Drive, H+D and others.

 

William Morrisey:

William Morrisey is an award winning art director, designer, illustrator and educator working in New York whose work has been honored by the Type Directors Club and featured in Print magazine, Eye magazine and Gestalten publishers. William works in both the cultural and commercial sectors with clients ranging from Coca-Cola, American Express and Sundance Channel to The New York Times, Metropolis magazine, Cornell University and GOOD magazine (and lots more). On many projects he works with a pool of extraordinary collaborators to whom he is full of thanks.

 

Jessica Weber:

Jessica Weber founded her eponymous firm, Jessica Weber Design, in 1986. The firm specializes in creating branding, websites, marketing, and development strategies for highly effective design communications in the not for profit sector.

 

The winners will be announced Friday, November 4th.
