Yasmil Raymond

Yasmil Raymond is Associate Curator in the Department of Painting and Sculpture at MoMA. Previously she served as curator at the of Dia Art Foundation, working with artists including Allora & Calzadilla, Carl Andre, Thomas Hirschhorn, Jean-Luc Moulène, Yvonne Rainer, Koo Jeong A, and Trisha Brown. Before Dia, she was Associate Curator at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, where she co-curated, with Philippe Vergne, the seminal exhibition entitled Kara Walker: My Complement, My Enemy, My Oppressor, My Love, which won the 2008  International Association of Art Critics award for “Best Monographic Museum Show Nationally”.
