Regine Basha

Regine Basha is a curator, writer, and educator working, nationally and internationally. She has produced large-scale context-specific exhibitions in non-traditional settings such as in abandoned heritage sites, small towns, and corporate offices, and has been engaged with sound art and sonic cultures since the early naughts. She is also the founder of the audio-visual archive ‘Tuning Baghdad’ from which she presents in the context of a tea salon. Basha is a graduate of NYU and the Center for Curatorial Studies at Bard College. She is on the Executive Board of Art Matters.
