Angel Nevarez and Valerie Tevere are multidisciplinary artists whose projects investigate contemporary music and sound, the electromagnetic spectrum, dissent and public fora. Their work has been exhibited at international venues including MoMA, The Guggenheim Museum, and the New Museum in New York; Taxispalais, Innsbruck, Austria; Manifesta 8/ Spain; Museo de Arte Raúl Anguiano, Guadalajara, Mexico; Henie Onstad Art Centre, Høvikodden/Oslo, Norway, among others. The first US survey of their work was exhibited at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Philadelphia, in 2016. Their recent fellowships and grants include a Creative Capital fellowship, an Art Matters grant, an NEA project grant, and a Franklin Furnace Performance Art fellowship.
