Ajay Kurian is an artist living in Brooklyn, NY who is known for his work with eclectic materials–gold-plated ostrich eggs, gummy bears, and vaporizers – to postulate new worlds without leaving ours. Since 2015, he has had several solo exhibitions at venues including 47 Canal Gallery, JOAN in Los Angeles, White Flag Projects in St. Louis, Rowhouse Project in Baltimore, and Art Basel Statements, and was also featured in the most recent edition of the Whitney Biennial and MoMA PS1’s Greater New York.

This event is open to current Fine Arts students only. The lecture will be taped and will be available via our Vimeo channel following the event.
