Operating Press in Parsons Printmaking Shop

Both an introductory class, and ongoing lab, for producing monotypes. Monotypes are one-offs. They are made by applying ink, color, or other materials to a plate, and then using a press to print the prepared plate onto paper, canvas, or other surface. This printed surface becomes the work of art. The plate contains no features that will impart any qualities to successive prints.
