MFA Fine Arts student Tianyu Qiu ’18 will present his paper DARK MATTER–a situational experience to reality in the CAA Annual Conference. This paper is about his project Dark Matter started after the 2016 US election, which re-constructs a situation in a performative platform using space, object, and participation, and discuss the invisible part of humanity and reality by curating the experience of the participants into a situation of fear and anxiety.
