Parsons Fine Arts is pleased to announce the 2018 BFA Thesis Exhibition to be held on Tuesday, May 15th, 6–9pm.

Graduating students will exhibit their thesis projects in painting, sculpture, video, installation, performance and other media, showcasing the depth and breadth of our students’ individual approaches to artmaking.

Parsons Fine Arts BFA students are exposed to a wide range of innovative studio practices through our interdisciplinary program and our renowned Visiting Artist Lecture Series. Students not only learn traditional techniques, but are encouraged to work innovatively and push the boundaries of what contemporary art is. Parsons Fine Arts is committed to diversity among students and faculty, which provides a potent learning community.  Housed within both Parsons School of Design and The New School University, the Fine Arts program is uniquely positioned within a progressive educational environment. Research and scholarship are a fundamental part of our curriculum and reflected in our students’ ability to critically consider their practice within a global context.
