Artist Statement

Michael Rose is a multidisciplinary artist who works in painting, video, sound installation, music, and digital processes. Within his practice, Rose considers the interrelationships between theme, process, and materiality as an ecosystem: a polyphonic space of activity that serves as both a reflection of, and a process-based investigation into the porous seams between body, technology, environmental context, culture, and self.
