Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a talented Design Intern for our New York office.

Key Activities:
Working closely with a supervisor and a mentor, Design Interns will be responsible for:

  • Contributing to the exploration, conceptual and visual development, and execution of design directions.
  • Collaborate with Designers and Design Directors who will guide your work and invest in your growth and development as a designer
  • Work with the creative team to learn the fundamentals of print production — creating print specifications, marking up files, releasing jobs to printers, reviewing proofs and attending press checks.
  • Assist the creative team in layout and color explorations, scanning, and stock photography searches.
  • Make edits to documents, helping to prepare comps, mood boards and client presentations.
  • Work with the creative team to learn about art direction of photography and illustration
  • Conduct searches for potential resources for photography/illustration assignments, photocopying portfolios in office as needed.

Requirements:

  • Currently a junior or senior undergraduate student from an accredited university or design school
  • Must have an interest for branding design
  • Hold a strong passion for craft/area of specialization and ability to demonstrate a clear “point-of-view” relating to your design
  • Work well in very team-oriented culture
  • Strong technical knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator

Additional Information:
Internship Program will be part-time (or full-time) on-site
School credit
