VINCENT CIANNI
SATURDAY AUGUST 9TH, 8PM

Vincent Cianni is a documentary photographer whose work explores community, memory, and the human condition through image, text, and audio.  

His first book, We Skate Hardcore, an eight-year documentary project, was published by NYU Press and the Center for Documentary Studies in 2004 and received the American Association of University Press Best Book Design Award. Gays in the Military, an investigation into the effects of the military’s ban on the lives and careers of LGBT service members, was published by Daylight in Spring 2014.
