The Spring 2017 season at the 25 East Gallery will open with “The Great Acceleration.”
“We have entered a new geological age recognized as the Anthropocene or ‘Age of Humans’ giving rise to much theory and debate. The instensification of our human presence on Earth has produced a collective imprint on our planet that is yet to be understood. These works engage in ideas of transformation, deviation, mutation and rapid change” (from the press release).
