Every Day with Rachael Ray Magazine is looking for a photo / art assistant who will be involved in all functions of the day to day activities of the Photo and Art Departments.   The Assistant will be responsible for processing all paperwork associated with both departments including contracts, releases, invoices and more. It is an extremely hands on role, requiring strong organizational skills, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to multitask.  This position will play a key role in keeping both the Photo and Art Departments on track.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design or related field

One year job or intern experience at a consumer magazine is a plus

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to multitask and prioritize under tight deadlines.

Strong research and organizational skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills.

Strong interest in photography and /or art and design

Proficiency in Photo Shop, In Design and Illustrator, Excel a plus
