The LES Studio Program Resident Exhibition Cuchifritos Gallery + Project Space would like to invite you to the opening of How the sphere, having in vain tried words, resorted to deed. The exhibition includes work from MFA Photo Alumna Kate Stone.

The Opening Reception will be Friday, June 12 from 5 – 7p. The exhibition will be on view from June 12th through July 5th at Cuchifritos Gallery + Project Space in LES. Hours are Tuesday – Sunday, 12 – 6p.

About the Exhibition: Borrowed from Chapter Seventeen of Edwin A. Abbott’s 1884 novel “Flatland,” How the sphere, having in vain tried words, resorted to deeds, introduces the work of four artists–Constantin Hartenstein, Kate Stone, Tuguldur Yondonjamts, Holly Veselka–whose practices both reveal and manipulate the tensions between concepts and realities, perception and imagination, objects and representation.

Presented as part of the Workspace 2015 series, featuring the work of LES Studio Program artists-in-residence.
