6—9 PM

343 5th Street

Distortion features collaborative works between designers and artists, displaying a collection which focuses on the creative process of the manipulation of fabric and textile to create a dark aesthetic. The works will attempt to define the word “distortion”. James Hsieh, MFA Fine Arts ’17, will feature his soft sculpture works here.

The reception will provide an opportunity for other artists and designers to mingle and will feature a live fashion drawing component by artist Jennifer Lynn.
