We are thrilled to announce the appointment of two new program directors in AMT. Juliette Cezzar will be taking over as director of the BFA Communication Design and BFA Design & Technology programs, and Todd Lambrix will be the incoming director of the Illustration program.

Juliette Cezzar takes the reins from Jane Pirone and Benjamin Bacon, who will continue at Parsons as full-time faculty engaged in their respective projects here and abroad. Juliette has been at Parsons since 2008, teaching various courses in Graphic Design. She holds an MFA in Graphic Design from Yale University and a professional degree in Architecture from Virginia Tech. She established her small studio, e.a.d., in 2005, after her second year-long stint as a freelance designer at the Museum of Modern Art. The work of e.a.d. has included co-design for wayfinding and labels at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, creative direction and design for RES magazine, design direction for the Linked Media Group at Vh1, and several books, websites, and identities for cultural clients. She is the also author-designer of four books, Office Mayhem, Paper Pilot, Paper Captain, and Paper Astronaut.

Todd Lambrix is taking over the BFA Illustration Directorship from Steven Guarnaccia, who will commence a much-deserved sabbatical. Todd holds an MFA in Sculpture from RiSD. He is coming to us from SDS as a successful Associate Director of Foundation. He works across a variety of disciplines and media while trying to examine the way terrestrial systems and environments form, operate, expand, contract, recede, advance, coagulate, reproduce, thrive and die. He is currently working on a 5 year long documentary film which follows the lives of 5 students. Check it out here, toddlambrix.com/5×5.

Please join us in congratulating and welcoming both Juliette and Todd!
