DESIGN EDITOR
New School Psychology Bulletin

The New School Psychology Bulletin (NSPB) is seeking a Design Editor to oversee and manage the art, design, layout, and production of this bi-annual academic journal. The NSPB is edited and authored exclusively by graduate students in psychology and published by the New School for Social Research; the goals of the journal are thus to provide experience, education, and recognition to outstanding graduate students.

The Design Editor will undertake sole responsibility for design, layout, and production of the journal and collaborate closely with the NSPB Co-Editors and Assistant Editor to maintain adherence to publication schedules and tasks.

REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate is a graduate or undergraduate Parsons student with 1-2 years of experience in print design and art direction. Applicants with the following skills and experience will be considered:

• Full fluency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Art or design experience with either academic or commercial print publishing.
• Time management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a small team.
• Prior experience with APA Sixth Edition print formatting is recommended, but not required.

This position is work-study eligible, with the majority of the hours logged in the months approaching each issue closing date (May/December). Interested candidates should send a CV and brief cover letter to alleb073@newschool.edu.
