Job Description:
B&A is looking for a part time Art/ Graphic Design/sales Assistant, available to work 1 day a week for a semester, in a fast paced artist management environment. This position supports multiple teams, marketing over 100 artists, both online and in print, including prep work for external partners. In addition, you’ll be invited to attend photo shoots, events, participate in creative calls and mentorship in sales. The ideal applicant should have 2-3 years of relevant education, training or job experience, and be talented and creative in the visual and/ or media arts, as well as the social media platforms.

Responsibilities:
* Assist in asset management, keyword, tagging and upload to new web site.
* Reformatting imagery.
* Work on multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with changing proprieties.
* Take direction well, juggle projects with changing priorities and be a self motivator.
* Report to department managers with status updates on talent assets weekly.
* Log activity into talent management system.
* Comply with company policies, processes, and style guides; exhibit attention to detail.
* Be a team player with a positive attitude willing to contribute to task success.

Qualifications:
* At least two years education or training in graphic design, fine art, computer science or equivalent combination.
* Fluency in Adobe CS & Microsoft Programs.
* Familiarity with Social Media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, etc.
* Solid layout skills, and an eye for design to translate trends into assignments.
* Able to communicate the status of a project and predict problems with deadlines.
* Skills in writing, copy editing, photography, and/ or video production, a plus.
* Passion to learn, accept responsibility, and optimize the benefits of this role.
* Only local New York City, 5 borough candidates will be considered.
