POSITION SUMMARY
This position is for an artist to work with game developers to create layered backgrounds and character animation frames for web based 2d and 2.5d games. Candidate should be comfortable with cartoon character drawing as well as creating meshes using some form of 3d digital tool (e.g. Maya, Blender, etc.) and exporting to common 2d web image formats (.png, .jpg, etc.).

SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED
Basic skills and knowledge of flash illustration and/or animation in Adobe CS required.
Must have graduated within a year of this posting with a Bachelors or Masters degree
Basic skills and knowledge of 3d tools such as Maya, Blender
Basic knowledge of design, color and art principles required.
Previous work experience within a team.
Strong team commitment.
Flexible and willing to learn.
Self-motivated.
Receptive to constructive critique.
Able to adhere to deadlines, follow guidelines, models, and processes.
