Eyewriter, DT Faculty Project, @ NYC pechakucha for Haiti

On Saturday, Febuary 20th, there will be a global pechakucha for Haiti.

20 seconds, 20 images, 200 cities, 2000 presentations, 200,000 people – with the aim to raise $1,000,000 for rebuilding Haiti.

At the NYC event, DT Faculty Zach Lieberman will be presenting the eyewriter, a project that a group of artist and hackers have been developing. It’s a low cost, open-source device and software platform for eye tracking to help allow paralyzed people to draw: http://eyewriter.org

In addition there is a great roster of speakers including Stefan Sagmeister, David Adjaye and Susannah Drake.
