Jim Anness from RedStream Technology is looking for a solid web designer for a long-term consulting gig in mid-town. Long-term, great company, competitive pay. This work will be all on-site in midtown.

The Digital Designer develops and executes creative deliverables including standards compliant websites, rich media content and social integrated projects. Responsibilities include creating and communicating concepts and developing interactive design solutions from inception to completion.

The Digital Designer ensures that the firms digital communications are best in class and meet the needs of internal stakeholders while delivering a consistently distinctive and cohesive user experience. This is a hands-on role, with activities ranging from developing design concepts through to implementing projects down to the fine details.

Reporting to the Design Director, the Digital Designer is part of the Communications and Publishing design team. She/he will work collaboratively with partners, senior support staff (e.g., practice managers) and IT/communications/publishing colleagues to create and maintain outstanding products.

Responsibilities:
-Create engaging websites, rich media content and other digital products while upholding the highest standards of usability across digital channels
-Under the direction of the Design Director, lead the day to day development of the corporate web site and other digital properties, ensuring they address the needs of project sponsors and end users
-Communicate effectively with stakeholders from across the organization to bring technical expertise, answer questions and troubleshoot problems with digital properties
-Work with content owners to source, create, and develop visual assets for digital communications
-Provide thought leadership and hands-on execution across a diverse range of design and communication challenges including data visualization, graphics for video, print layouts, and interactive presentations

Experience:
-Strong sense of design, layout, information architecture, and online communications
-Detailed understanding of web development processes and experience working with developers to implement designs
-Able to take ownership, prioritize, and manage multiple deadlines with minimal supervision
-Able to initiate programs and ideas on how to improve products and processes
-In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
-Pixel perfect attention to detail
