Cooldown showcases works of videogame art and experimental interfaces created by emerging artists and designers from Game Design Systems and The New Arcade in Parsons’ Design and Technology program.

Game Design is a quest to answer questions no one asked, all in the name of fun. For Cooldown, Game Design Systems references classic gaming experiences, while turning the gameplay itself into an art form. Works created in The New Arcade explore the possibilities of bespoke interfaces in interactive games, proposing an alternate history of the arcade.
