CD alumna, Yunjoo Lee was recently honored as Student Notable in Visual Communications by Core77 for her project Tit for Tat. Tit for Tat is an application that allows students to exchange second hand goods with friends at The New School. The app focuses on saving money and reducing the consumption of goods on the planet.

When asked about the idea behind the application, Yunjoo Lee states that “my persona is The New School students. It’s us! While I was interviewing students around the school, I found out that many students were having a hard time because of the cost of materials for their classes. In order to solve this problem, I designed an application that facilitates the reused goods market and promotes the idea of reusing.

Yunjoo Lee also mentions that her goal was to create an application that could “help students to save money and the environment.”
