We are looking forward to seeing you and your films at AniFest!

First AniFest was held in 2002; since then it grew from a local film event to a big festival with international competition, outstanding focuses, retrospectives and lectures. This year, eleventh edition of AniFest was held in North Bohemian spa cities Teplice and Duchcov. There were more than 1600 films submissions from 67 countries; more than 20 000 visitors enjoyed the main topic of the festival, Magic of Film Puppet, which was chosen to celebrate Jiří Trnka’s birth anniversary. Barry Purves, Michel Ocelot, Will Vinton, Paul Wells, Ian Mackinnon, Igor Kovaljov, Giannalberto Bendazzi, Michaela Pavlátová or Jiří Barta are only few of great names you could have met there.
