Cabaret of Failure: a night of generative structural collapse

WHEN: Thursday, February 14th: 8 – 10pm
WHERE: Wolman Hall, 65 West 11th St. 5th Floor
WHAT: An evening of acts, performance, musical numbers and campy schtick – all about failure.
WHO: performances by students, staff and faculty of Parsons AMT and beyond.

The Cabaret of Failure is a one-night event on February 14, 2012 produced by MFA Candidate Reena Katz ,and hosted by AMT Assistant Professor and project collaborator Shana Agid. The failure theme explores performance through intentional errors, mistakes, and surprises. Acts, projects and ideas are presented by students, staff and faculty from Parsons and beyond. Cabaret of Failure is one in a number of events Katz is producing collaboratively throughout the year as part of her MFA thesis project: The New Division: Empathic Department for Sound and Architecture.
