The Fund for the Public Interest is a national non-profit organization that works to build support for progressive organizations across the country. We’ve run campaigns for USPIRG, Environment America, the Human Rights Campaign, the Sierra Club, Greenpeace, and Fair Share Alliance. This summer, we are running an office in Manhattan for Environment New York to fight global warming. The President is moving forward with a plan to, for the first time ever, limit our country’s #1 source of global warming emissions – carbon pollution from dirty power plants. Yet, members of Congress who deny the science of climate change are vowing to do everything in their power to block the President. That’s why we need to make sure Senators Gillibrand and Schumer listen to their constituents and support the plan this summer!

This is your chance to spend your summer working for a great cause, while gaining valuable campaign leadership experience and making $10-15/hour.

We’re also offering part-time unpaid internships to help recruit and manage our campaign – apply here!
